PROSCIBA 2026 & EIFS 2026 Aveiro
Aveiro (Portugal), 25 – 28 October 2026
The PROSCIBA 2026 and EIFS 2026, to be held in Aveiro (Portugal), aim to bring together researchers, academics, and industry professionals working on supercritical fluids to exchange knowledge, present recent scientific and technological advances, and promote collaboration within the international community. The conferences welcome contributions covering both fundamental and applied aspects of supercritical fluid science, including areas such as materials, pharmaceuticals, food, energy, and sustainable processes, fostering discussion on innovative applications and future developments in the field.
Curso de verano-USC BIOIMPRESIÓN 3D: Tecnología Emergente en la Frontera entre la Biomedicina y la Ingeniería (6ª edición)
Santiago de Compostela (Spain), 30 June – 3 July 2026
The course aims to provide an overview of current 3D printing technologies while promoting an interdisciplinary perspective within the biomedical field. In addition, it will present real examples of research and clinical applications of 3D bioprinting, complemented by hands-on training sessions that allow participants to gain practical experience with these techniques.
Curso de Verano USC-BIOIMPRESIÓN 3D: Tecnología Emergente en la Frontera entre la Biomedicina y la Ingeniería (5ª edición)

The main objectives of this course are to present the existing technologies for 3D printing, to introduce an interdisciplinary approach in the field of biomedicine and to show practical cases of research and clinical use of 3D bioprinting including hands-on training sessions.
3rd Iberian Meeting on Supercritical Fluids (EIFS 2024)
Ourense (Spain), 22 – 24 July 2024
EIFS2024 aims at the dissemination of the high quality scientific research currently developed in Spain and Portugal on a wide range of fundamental and applied topics on supercritical fluids and processes. It also aims to bring together, to strengthen and create new ties and collaborations between the Iberian research community and industry working on these topics, as well as to support young Iberian researchers working on these fields.
The conference is organized by the Universidade de Vigo and Flucomp (Asociación de Expertos en Fluídos Comprimidos) with the support of Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and Universidade de Coimbra.

3rd International Conference on Aerogels for Biomedical and Environmental Applications
Maribor (Slovenia), 5 – 7 July 2023
This conference aims at assembling and integrating the most recent scientific-technological knowledge in aerogels and other nanostructured materials on a wide range of fundamental topics in terms of novel designs, processes, modelling tools, characterization techniques and uses from academia, industry and regulatory experts, focusing on biomedical and environmental applications. It also aims at strengthening and creating new ties and collaborations in the aerogel community all over the world.
The conference is organized by the AERoGELS COST Action and hosted by the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of Maribor (Slovenia).
Workshop on Aerogels Characterization and Modelling
Debrecen (Hungary), 29 – 31 March 2023
The scope of the workshop is the fundamental and applied characterization and modelling of porous materials in the broadest sense, from molecular spectroscopy to surface analytical techniques, from calculations on the atomic level to process modelling. Beside assembling and integrating the most recent scientific and technological knowledge in aerogels and other nanostructured materials, the workshop also aims at strengthening and creating new ties and collaborations in the aerogel community all over the world. The conference is organized by the AERoGELS COST Action and hosted by the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Debrecen (Hungary).
2nd International Conference on Aerogels for Biomedical and Environmental Applications

Training School on 3D-Printing of Gels and Aerogels (3rd edition)

This training school aims at assembling and integrating the most recent advances in 3D-printing of gels and aerogels from an interdisciplinary perspective. This school comprises invited presentations covering a wide range of fundamental topics in terms of novel designs, processes, characterization techniques and uses from academia, industry and regulatory experts, focusing on biomedical and environmental applications. It will be a great opportunity for discussion, questions and exchange of ideas in the area of material science to encourage the collaboration within the AERoGELS COST Action.

In this training school we will share presentations of experts working with fabrication and characterization, pharmaceutical applications, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, biomaterials, scaffolds, and cell-surface interactions. It is a unique opportunity to discover and exploit the new frontiers of this exciting field and to highlight the relevance of Aerogels expertise of AERoGELS COST Action, partners to advance the state of the art of materials for biomedical applications.

Spanish-Portuguese Industry-Academia Aerogel Meeting

This meeting aims at gathering, integrating and strenghtening the scientific-technological-production knowledge in aerogels developed in the Iberian Peninsula.
